Today we read our published pieces to third grade. Third graders told one fact they learned.

Cranberries

Ask your student 3 facts about cranberries! That is our topic this week! We will even be trying some on Friday! 

Base 10 blocks

Base ten blocks. We have been using base ten blocks to determine tens and ones . We've realized it's much easier to count by tens! Of course before we started using them as math tools we got to play with them! They all said they look like French fries!

Happy 100th day!

We had so much fun during our 100th day we barely had time for pictures!

Teacher helpers

Today two students got to be the experts teaching the class about the number 11 and whether it was a teen number or not . These boys did an excellent job!

Teen numbers

Today we used specific criteria about identifying teen numbers . We debated if 11 and 12 were teen numbers. Ask your student the results.
